While I do provide grant research, writing, submission and management there is no guarantee of funding outcomes. I do not offer legal, financial or tax advice.
Client Responsibilities
To provide you with the best outcome I need accurate organizational documents, timely responses, financial data for budgeting and access to required systems or accounts. Failure to provide these may impact deadlines or outcomes.
Payment Terms
Clarify your billing structure:
• Flat rate, hourly, retainer, or package pricing
• Payment schedule (deposit required, partial payments, etc.)
• Refund policy (usually non-refundable once work begins)
• Late payment fees, if applicable
Prohibited Payment Structures
I do not work on commission, contingency or percentage-based fees, in compliance with ethical grant-writing standards.
Ownership & Intellectual Property
• Client owns all final deliverables once paid in full
• Grant writer retains rights to templates and proprietary tools
Confidentiality & Data Protection
All client information is kept confidential and used only for grant-related services. I do not share or disclose documents or data without your permission, and all materials are stored securely.

1. Limitation of Liability
While I strive to provide high-quality, accurate, and timely grant writing services, I cannot guarantee that any funding application will be approved. All final funding decisions rest solely with the grant-making organizations.
I am not responsible for any loss, error or negative outcome resulting from the client’s misuse, misinterpretation or unauthorized alteration of materials, research or information provided during service.
Additionally, any delays, missed deadlines or project setbacks caused by the client’s failure to provide required information, documents or approvals in a timely manner are not my responsibility, and I cannot be held liable for outcomes resulting from such delays.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim arising from services provided is strictly limited to the amount paid for those specific services.
2. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice. Upon termination, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed up to the date of termination, including any outstanding invoices or agreed-upon fees.
If the client fails to provide necessary information, respond to communication, or meet project deadlines, I reserve the right to suspend or terminate services. Likewise, services may be terminated if the client engages in misconduct, provides false information or requests work that is unethical or outside the agreed scope.
Upon termination, all complete or in-progress materials prepared prior to the termination date will be provided to the client in their current form. No further revisions, submissions or grant-related work will be completed unless a new agreement is established.
3. Compliance
I work in full accordance with all applicable federal and state grant regulations, as well as established professional ethical standards, including the Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI) and the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) Code of Ethics. My commitment to these guidelines ensures integrity, transparency and responsible practice in all grant-related services.
4. Updates to Terms
I reserve the right to update, revise or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on this website. Continued use of my services after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
